Gate
VISITOR ENTRANCE
Our visitor entrance in on Indiana Avenue. It is monitored by a video camera that records and transmit audio. Currently, visitors are coming onto campus by appointment only. When visiting our campus, you will be buzzed in at our main gate. You must then proceed directly to the main office to sign in and inform us of the reason for your visit. ALL visitors, including district personnel, must sign in and out at the main office. We have a contact-free sign in. Scan the GREEN QR code at the office to sign in with your mobile device and scan the RED QR code to sign out.
DISMISSAL GATE
- All ETK/TK/K students will be dismissed at the lower gate (kinder) on Indiana.
- All 1st-5th grade students will be dismissed at the main gate on Indiana.
BUS GATE
- At arrival, magnet students will be dropped off at the main gate and received by our campus aide.
- At departure, magnet students will be picked up at the side gate on Multnomah and escorted by our magnet coordinator or her designated assistant.
STAFF PARKING GATE
There is absolutely no drop off and pick up from our staff parking lot/gate.
YDP/YS PARENTS
Parents picking up students from the after school YDP and YS program will pick up student on Multnomah Street from the little GATE beginning at 3:00 pm.
- Please do not block our staff parking driveway.
- You will not be allowed on campus.
- Call Coach Vanessa at 818-808-3361 to inform her that you are here and who you are picking up. Student(s) will be brought to you.
YS and YDP will be using rooms 24, 25, 26, and 27.
EMERGENCY GATES
In the event of an emergency such as an earthquake, parents can request children for early release at our REQUEST GATE (main visitor gate) on Indiana Avenue and receive your children at our REUNION GATE (kindergarten gate) on lower Indiana Avenue.
The same rules apply for emergency release. Your name must be listed on the emergency card for us to legally release the child to you. Please do not ask for exceptions. Bring an ID.
